Kid Friendly Adventure Destinations

Are you looking for a fun activity to do with your kids this summer? Adventure Destinations is the perfect place. We have compiled a list of 10 Kid Friendly Adventure Destinations that are sure to keep your children entertained and engaged all day long. Check them out below!

This is a list of the first three Kid Friendly Adventure Destinations.

Washington Park Arboretum in Seattle, Washington – This park provides hours of exploration for children as they explore the different plant life and wildlife throughout its many trails that range from easy to difficult. Plus, with tons of picnic tables for you to enjoy your lunch outside while your kids play away, this arboretum is perfect! 

Knott’s Berry Farm– Knott’s features an amusement park so if you are looking for nonstop fun then look no further than this place! There are rides galore but don’t worry about getting bored because there are also plenty of other activities including fishing at Ghost Town Lake or heading  over to Camp Snoopy for some family fun. 

Niagara Falls – Niagara Falls is a great destination that offers tons of adventure with the rapids and waterfalls, but also features attractions for children including an IMAX theater and mini golf! Plus, since you are going on vacation anyways there are plenty of other activities within walking distance from one another so make sure to check them out while you’re in town!

Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson, Arizona – If your kids are interested in astronomy or science then make sure you check out Kitt Peak. With over 36 telescopes on site for exploring as well as daily presentations from astronomers themselves this provides plenty of learning opportunities for children while still being an adventure-packed day trip. And since there are tons of different rides within walking distance at the nearby park they will have fun after dark too!

Hiking Trails Near Denver, Colorado – Whether it’s summer time and everything is lush with green leaves or winter where snow blankets all but the trees these trails provide hours of exploration along their various terrains that  are safe and comfortable for the whole family.

Snoqualmie Falls near Seattle, Washington – The perfect spot to spend a day exploring with kids is this beautiful waterfalls that has two trails leading up to it as well as one along its side where you can get some spectacular views of the falls from below if your hiking skills are not quite  up to the task.

Palo Duro Canyon near Amarillo, Texas – This is a great place for kids of all ages as there are trails and paths that range from easy to difficult that will keep you entertained with new discoveries each time.   The fun continues when it’s time for lunch or dinner after dark as they enjoy watching the animals come out to play in their natural habitat.

Cape Lookout National Seashore near Beaufort, North Carolina – If your family needs an adventure but also loves being close together this is one of those destinations where everyone can have some memorable moments without worrying about getting too far away form home base.  You’ll love exploring along these beautiful beaches while taking care not too get lost .
